Hello Dolly Bars
 
  • 1/4 lb butter or 1/2 c margarine
  • 1 c crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers
  • 1 6-oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1 c flaked coconut
  • 1 c broken nut meats (pecans or almonds)
  • 1 15-oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • Melt butter in a 9x13 pan.
  • Sprinkle vanilla wafer crumbs evenly over butter.
  • Add chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts in layers.
  • Cut in squares, cool, cover with aluminum foil, and chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
