Chicken Yakitori
3 tblsp dry sherry
2 tblsp sugar
1/4 c Tamari dark aged soy sauce (regular soy sauce works fine; that's what I always use)
2 tblsp light oil
1 lb chicken tenders
1 handful scallions, cut in half
Combine sherry, sugar, dark soy, and oil in a shallow dish.
Turn chicken tenders and scallions in marinade and let stand 10 minutes.
Grill chicken and scallions for 3-4 minutes on each side.
