Chicken Yakitori
 
  • 3 tblsp dry sherry
  • 2 tblsp sugar
  • 1/4 c Tamari dark aged soy sauce (regular soy sauce works fine; that's what I always use)
  • 2 tblsp light oil
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 handful scallions, cut in half
  • Combine sherry, sugar, dark soy, and oil in a shallow dish.
  • Turn chicken tenders and scallions in marinade and let stand 10 minutes.
  • Grill chicken and scallions for 3-4 minutes on each side.
