Bran Muffins
1/2 c sugar
1 1/4 c all purpose flour
1 tblsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 c bran flakes
1/2 c raisins (optional)
1 1/4 c milk
1 egg
1/3 vegetable oil (can use a little less)
In a bowl, mix wet ingredients and put over bran flakes (and raisins).
Mix well.
Mix dry ingredients together and add to bowl.
Mix fast and well and put in greased muffin cups.
Bake at 380 until you can press on the top and the top springs back.
