- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Arrange the apples in a deep, buttered 8x8 baking dish. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and half of the brown sugar.
- In a medium bowl, blend together the flour, remaining brown sugar, and butter with a fork. Sprinkle the topping over the apples, or if you'd prefer a more solid topping (and who wouldn't), firmly press the topping crumbs together to form a crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
